Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Casa Esperanza of Angels Philippine Mission will host child education and youth ministry programs to provide instructions to children and young members of neighboring communities. This will primarily benefit children of the orphan care facility we’re building inside the mission. The establishment of a school facility for them and for children from neighboring areas is part of our long-term plans.

CEA will also work to distribute school materials and books to children of indigent households in the city during our outreach events as part of this program. We will also provide a venue at our planned church of Christ multipurpose pavilion for young people to hold fun activities, attend worship services, and learn livelihood skills.

3 Pillars of CEA Education

Child education at Casa Esperanza of Angels mission school will focus on three main areas:

Bible Knowledge: In line with our Christian faith, we will only teach scripture as the Bible teaches. No other doctrines other than the pure scripture of HIS word.

Basic School Curriculum: As private schools in the Philippines are also regulated by the Department of Education (DepEd), we will work closely we this agency to secure the necessary licenses for the school and implement approved teaching methods and content.

Practical Life Skills: The children’s education will not only be focused on biblical and school book knowledge but in global knowledge such as: self sustainability, etiquette, common courtesy, social skills, budgeting and money management, and practical life lessons.

The God given talents of each child will be mentored and developed to help them achieve success. They will receive a well-rounded education and proper encouragement so they can develop a good self esteem and confidence as they mature into well-adjusted and independent adults.

My wife Georgia who is a retired Master Teacher with 21 years of experience and rigorous training from the Philippine public schools system (DepEd) will serve as the Education Director of the mission school facility when it is established. At the moment, we’re focusing on building a church of Christ multipurpose pavilion that can also serve as temporary venue for Bible studies and Sunday school sessions for the children.

School Materials & Books

We regularly conduct community outreach events to benefit indigent families in Tanjay City and other locations. During these events, we distribute school materials and books, whenever these are available. In the future, we plan to increase the number of materials that we can provide to these children and bring help to schools remote villages in the city where parents can hardly provide for the educational needs of their children.

At-Risk Youth

We will also work with church members and elders of the church of Christ congregation we’re seeking to establish in this city to protect at-risk youth and help guide them in the right path of Christian living. Young people in Tanjay City, with its rapidly growing population of 80,000 souls, are also exposed to distractions and self-destructive lifestyles, much like anywhere else. We aim to provide a venue (through the planned church of Christ pavilion) inside the mission where young people can gather to stage wholesome fun activities, learn skills, attend worship services, and do volunteer work.

Support Our Education & Youth Ministry Program

If your congregation has existing child education and youth programs we’d love to partner with you! We welcome school material and book donations that can be distributed to indigent children during our outreach events.

We will also be needing volunteers in the future to teach practical life skills, Bible knowledge, and language lessons to the children or lead young people through wholesome activities and youth formation programs.

At the moment, we’re actively seeking your support and donations to help finish the church of Christ pavilion we’re building inside the mission that will also serve as temporary venue for our child education and youth ministry programs. If you’re interested in helping us with this endeavor, please get in touch with us today.
