A New Year! | CEA January 2026 Newsletter

We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season, and we wish you all the best in this new year!

We are facing a health challenge with our Co-Founder, Ronald Brown, who needs to have two colon polyps removed. One is small, but the larger one carries some risks. We ask for your prayers as he undergoes these procedures in the near future. The costs are still uncertain at this time, and because he currently has no health insurance, there may come a point when we’ll need help with expenses.

We are not asking for donations right now, but if anyone is willing and able to assist in the future, should the need arise, your support would mean a great deal. Thank you for standing with us.

We are also currently facing many other challenges, including staffing shortages at our facility due to resignations, new government requirements for employee qualifications, and issues related to licensing and registration processing (we have now been granted a new license and registration).

Additionally, we need to obtain an Environmental Clearance Certificate and complete the accreditation application process. Navigating these requirements can be quite difficult, costly, and time-consuming.

While these challenges greatly increase our workload, we believe it is essential to comply with the law to uphold our ethical and moral responsibilities. Operating outside the law would jeopardize our mission. This commitment is vital for the longevity and credibility of our efforts, as well as for protecting our supporters’ investment in our work.

CEA Library

CEA Library graphicsOur CEA library is coming together nicely, and our children are thrilled! We have received many book donations, and the shelves are filling up—though there is still plenty of space available.

We are almost done organizing the books, adding pockets for checking out the items, and placing them on the shelves.

We are very grateful to all of you who donated various types of books and Bible study materials.

A New Year of Hope

CEA New Year of Hope graphicsAs we welcome a new year, all of us at Casa Esperanza of Angels want to pause and offer our deepest gratitude to you—our donors, prayer partners, and friends who continue to walk with us. This past year brought challenges and uncertainties, yet your generosity and prayers carried us through. Every gift, every encouraging message, every quiet prayer helped sustain our mission of providing a safe, loving, hope-filled home for the children in our care.

Your support has given our children not only shelter, but stability, education, nourishment…both physically and spiritually, and the warmth of family. You have been part of every smile, every breakthrough, and every moment of healing and growth.

As we enter the new year, we do so with renewed faith. The work remains great, and the needs of vulnerable children continue to grow—but with compassionate partners like you, we know we can face whatever comes.

We humbly ask you to continue standing with Casa Esperanza of Angels through your prayers, advocacy, and financial support. Together, we can make this year a brighter, stronger, more hope-filled chapter for the children we serve.

From our entire CEA family: thank you for believing in this mission, in our children, and in the power of hope. May this new year bring you peace, joy, and abundant blessings.

2 Corinthians 2:14

14Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
