What is Casa Esperanza of Angels?

Casa Esperanza of Angels (CEA) Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization currently building an orphanage facility in Barrio Sta. Ines, Tanjay City (pronounced tan-high) in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. This modern orphanage facility sits on a 2-hectare (4.94 acres) property a mile or so from the town center and is designed to eventually shelter and care for orphans, abandoned or abused children, and in some cases, children in dire economic circumstances from Tanjay City and the neighboring towns in this province. By God’s grace, we hope to open the CEA orphans sanctuary sometime in 2017.

Our Vision

We are clear about our vision for Casa Esperanza of Angels to become a refuge that will provide hope and loving care for orphans in Negros Island (part of the Visayas Islands in central Philippines). Our aim is to provide spiritual, physical, and mental health care to orphaned children in a compassionate family atmosphere to help them reach their full potential as human beings and to develop them to become successful contributors to society in the future. As a charity mission, we are fully aware of the challenges of rearing up children coming from adverse circumstances but with God’s mercy we will accomplish this by simulating a family environment within the orphanage facility where the children can feel loved and a confidence-building sense of belonging.

The House Parents Of Casa Esperanza Of Angels

The Casa Esperanza of Angels orphanage is designed with the welfare of the children under our care in mind. We have seen many charity foster care homes that neglect to take this into consideration and are operated like barracks and factories where the degree of self-loathing and alienation among orphans are heightened, we don’t want that to happen at the CEA facility. House parents are an integral part in how we will eventually run the orphanage. These are carefully chosen and vetted couples and individuals who share our vision in providing a family environment where our wards can thrive, feel a joyful sense of belongingness, and grow up into happy and well-adjusted human beings.

You Can Help Casa Esperanza Of Angels And The Orphans Of Negros Island

If you’re reading this, chances are you also care deeply about orphans as much as we do. Empathy and good intentions are important but your action can mean a world of difference to orphans, abandoned or abused children, and those suffering from extreme hunger and poverty in this part of the world. If you’re trying to find a charity or nonprofit to help financially, please consider donating to Casa Esperanza of Angels. Donors from the U.S. can make tax-deductible donations to CEA, please see instructions or contact us to find out how to send your donations through our partner nonprofit, the Agape Asia Foundation. Your donations can go a long way to help us with the ongoing construction of the facility and operational expenses when we open our doors to the orphans of Tanjay City and Negros Island next year. Thank you and God bless.
