FAQs

Is this Organization Legal?

Yes, we are fully compliant with all the necessary permits, registrations, licenses according to law. We are a legal non-profit organization.

Are all the Children Orphans?

No, in fact very few are. We accept children that are neglected, abandoned, abused (physically, mentally), orphaned, are in a “high-risk” situation, or are in extreme poverty. Our age range of admission is ages 3 – 14 years old. We do not accept handicapped children or children with active court cases.

How do You Get/Find the Children?

Most are referred to us from another source. Another orphanage, a local government unit, a barangay captain, or an individual that has a concern for a child.

What do you Provide for the Children?

We provide them with all the necessary basics of life: shelter, clothing, food, clean drinking water, health/medical care, education (secular/biblical), love, encouragement, and HOPE for their future. Provided the child obeys the rules and does their best in school we will try to help them complete their chosen course of study all the way thru college.

How can I Help?

We encourage people to sponsor a child ($35 USD per month), give a “one time” donation of any amount, contribute any amount (monthly/yearly) towards the general fund to help with various expenses/overhead, or if local to our facility… donate “in-kind” items we can use such as children’s clothes, groceries/food items, snacks/a meal for the children, or plants/trees for our gardens.

Whom Shall I send?

Here I am send me

Each Sunday evening here at CEA we are on a journey thru the bible, learning the books of the bible and overview/lessons from each book. We recently finished the book of Isaiah.

In Isaiah chapter 6 Isaiah has a vision and hears the Lord:

Isaiah 6: 8 KJV

8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

Do you have an interest in mission work? Do you have a desire to help children learn about the bible and be successful in life? Perhaps not you, but you know of someone else that might be interested.

We are actively seeking a couple that would come to the Philippines and fill in for Gigi and myself for short periods of time…or longer if they like. Gigi and I need to make annual/biannual trips to the US to report on the work/do fund raising and need people to fill in for us in our absence. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact me ASAP for more details!

4For whatever things were written before were written for our learning,
that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
