Typhoon Rebuilding & Repairs | CEA Newsletter February 2022

Since typhoon Odette in mid-December, we have been cleaning up the facility structures, the property, and rebuilding our gardens. After getting the road passable and electricity restored, we began purchasing materials and lining up workers to begin work on rebuilding/repairing damage from the storm.

Before and after: Our CEA kids worked hard to restore & cultivate their vegetable garden plots.

Because of your generous donations we have also been able to help others in need following the typhoon. We provided funds for some of our full-time staff that had damage to their personal homes, helped CEA volunteers that also suffered damage to their homes, assisted with funds to help rebuild Babag church of Christ in Cebu, and also provided food/and food packs for nearby families in need.

Thank you for being a Philippine Mission team member. We work hard every day, but we still could not do what we do without all of YOU!

Please continue to pray for Philippine Mission/Casa Esperanza of Angels each day of 2022! May He continue to bless us all in this new year!

James 2: 14-17

14What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
