As the miles add up, we’ve had the privilege of sharing updates on our mission efforts—highlighting the progress, challenges, and heartfelt stories that continue to shape our work with vulnerable children and families. Each stop was more than a report; it was a moment of connection, reflection, and renewed commitment.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who welcomed us with warmth, listened with compassion, and offered their support—whether through prayer, resources, or simply a shared meal. Your hospitality reminded us that this mission is not ours alone, but a collective journey of hope and healing. Thank you for walking alongside us.

Construction Update
Currently, our construction crew has been scaled back until we are nearing our return to the Philippines. In the meantime, our guys are working on the overflow canal from our pond (also slowly under construction), and also some excavation work for our new Older Boys Residence Building.

We will work to complete the Staff/Visitor housing building as quickly as possible upon our return to the Philippines.

Why Your Support Matters
Casa Esperanza of Angels is more than a facility—it’s a lifeline. If it ceases to operate, the consequences will be immediate and profound. Vulnerable children in Negros Oriental will lose access to safe shelter, compassionate care, and the chance to grow in a nurturing, faith-centered environment.
Without CEA, many will face increased risks of exploitation, neglect, and lifelong hardship. The ripple effects extend beyond the orphanage walls: our community outreach, health education, and church-building efforts would stall, leaving families without critical support and spiritual guidance.
The vision we share—a future where every child is protected, empowered, and loved—depends on this mission continuing. Your support ensures that hope is not just a promise, but a reality. Together, we can keep the doors open, provide necessities and healing, and most importantly…keep the LIGHT shining.
We are still searching…
We are still searching for individuals to help with our mission efforts. We are searching for a married couple to make occasional trips to the Philippines to oversee the work when we are away, and someone to help manage the assignments and sponsorships of our children. Matthew 5:14-16
14“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
