At the moment, our older boys share the same home as our younger residents, a setup that worked when the family was smaller but no longer fits where these young men are in life. Boys in their early teens through college need something different: privacy, responsibility, and room to practice the independence they’ll need soon. We are seeking your support to build a permanent Older Boys’ Residence at Casa Esperanza of Angels, a home designed specifically for these young men as they take their next steps toward adulthood.
The new residence will give older boys, from early teens through college, a space of their own. Private single-occupant rooms will be set aside for the boys who’ve shown they’re ready for that responsibility, giving them a real taste of independent living before they step into it fully. Communal areas will give the group room to socialize, study, and grow together, and modern amenities will support the practical side of daily life.
Once the building is complete, we’ll move our older boys into their new home, freeing up space for the younger boys’ home to keep giving our youngest residents a stable, caring place to grow. This project is about giving every stage of childhood at CEA the environment it actually needs.
