Estimates from government agencies and private charity organizations as to the number of orphans in the Philippines vary from 1.8 million to 2 million children and minors. Of these, only a lucky few will find homes inside orphan care facilities and government (DSWD) shelters and institutions. Many will roam the streets of Manila, Cebu, and other urban areas – homeless and exposed to all the adversities and dangers of living in the streets.
Only a concerted effort of everyone in society can possibly make a significant impact on this huge problem. With very limited resources at the moment, we simply cannot help them all. But, we can start with a few children and make a difference in their lives. That is what we’re working for at Casa Esperanza of Angels and we’re inviting you to partner with us in this endeavor.
At present, we’ve finished construction of the Staff and Visitor Housing building and have started work on some of the other buildings in the facility. We need your help to complete these projects.
To provide spiritual, physical, and emotional care to orphaned, abandoned, abused children, and those in dire circumstances, as well as to develop them to be successful contributors to society as a whole in a loving family atmosphere.
Your partnership and steadfast support help us keep the lights on, the pantry full, and a loving home standing for children who have nowhere else to turn.
