USA Travels/Nearing Full Capacity | CEA July 2025 Newsletter

Gigi and I arrived in the US on July 7. We have contacted a large number of churches in hopes of giving reports on the mission; however, many have not responded. If your church has an interest in hearing a presentation on our Philippine Mission efforts, please contact me ASAP:

Just before we left the Philippines, we added yet another child to our care and we’re now nearing full capacity in our facility. Our boys’ home is now full of 16 boys. Our girls’ home has only 3 empty beds, giving us a total of 37 children in our care.

Thank you to all our sponsors/donors for making it possible for us to help these 37 marginalized children through your generosity.

Construction Update

Progress on our Staff/Visitor Housing continues with tile installation, completion of the ceiling, and ongoing work on the exterior soffit. Countertops and doors are also being installed.

Since our boys’ home is now full and we have a need to provide different living conditions for our older boys, we will begin our older boys’ residence building in the near future. As our boys age, there is a need to relocate them a considerable distance from our girls’ home.

🌱 Unequal Beginnings: Why Marginalized Children Deserve Our Collective Support

Not all children begin life on equal footing. Some are born into nurturing environments with access to education, healthcare, and love. Others—often invisible to society—face overwhelming barriers from the very start: poverty, neglect, abuse, abandonment. These disparities don’t simply fade with time—they compound, shaping futures with fewer opportunities and harsher realities.

📚 What Marginalization Looks Like

Marginalized children often grow up in underserved communities where the basics—nutritious food, clean water, safety, and schooling—aren’t guaranteed. They might be orphaned, displaced, disabled, or part of minority groups, stigmatized, and excluded. Their dreams are no smaller, but the road to realizing them is steep and lonely.

💛 Why We Must Act:

Supporting these children isn’t just about charity—it’s about justice. It’s a recognition that privilege shouldn’t dictate a child’s chances in life. When we invest in marginalized children through advocacy, education, outreach, and care, we restore dignity and open doors that were previously locked.
Children shouldn’t be punished for the circumstances of their birth. The measure of a just society lies in how it treats its most vulnerable. Let’s be the reason a child believes the world is capable of kindness and display the love of God.

We are Still Searching…

We need your help graphicsWe are still searching for individuals to help our mission efforts. We are searching for a married couple to make occasional trips to the Philippines to oversee the work when we are away, and someone to help manage the assignments and sponsorships of our children. If you have an interest, please contact Ronald Brown: rbrown406@hotmail.com

Mark 10:13-16

13Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
