Welcome to Casa Esperanza of Angels Philippine Mission

Casa Esperanza of Angels (CEA) Foundation, Inc. is a mission of the church of Christ in Tanjay City, (pronounced tan-high) in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. We are a nonprofit organization aiming to shelter orphans, uplift the social and economic conditions of impoverished communities in this area, and provide for their spiritual needs through the establishment of a church of Christ congregation here.

At present, we are working to build a church of Christ worship and activity center and a modern orphanage facility at our 2-hectare (4.94 acres) property just over a mile from the town center. We are also focused on community outreach, sustainability, livelihood training, children’s education, human trafficking prevention, and other projects designed to help neighboring communities thrive and to introduce the grace and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ into their lives. A Flourishing Community of Saved Souls

Our vision is to help establish a vibrant church of Christ congregation in this city of 80,000 people. We hope to be able to build a worship center to host the activities of the congregation as well as serve as a multi-purpose facility where we can hold our community outreach, livelihood training, children’s education, and other projects. Refuge for Orphans and Abandoned Children

Currently under construction, we envision the Casa Esperanza of Angels orphanage facility to shelter and care for orphans, abandoned or abused children, and in some cases, children in dire economic circumstances from Tanjay City and neighboring towns in this province. Our aim is to nurture these children spiritually, physically, and socially to help them grow into well-adjusted, productive, and zealous Christian men and women. Through our Community Outreach and Livelihood Training programs, Casa Esperanza of Angels aims to help improve the lives of the people in our surrounding communities in a concrete and impactful way. Our Sustainability Strategy

Sustainability is a core part of our mission at Casa Esperanza of Angels. We are all stewards of God’s creation and we aim to make a large part of our facility into a sustainable garden on which we can grow nourishing food for the children of the orphanage. Excess food from our vegetable gardens and orchards will be shared with the communities during our outreach activities. Organic gardening and responsible soil cultivation will also be part of the instructions for the children of the orphanage to help them become responsible and independent individuals in the future. About The Leadership Of Casa Esperanza Of Angels

Casa Esperanza of Angels was founded by the indefatigable husband and wife team of Ronald and Georgia Brown. Ron Brown currently serves as CEA’s Managing Director. He had previously completed a successful stint with the China Agape Foundation, serving as the nonprofit’s Care Center Operations Director and Supervisor for construction and maintenance in six different charity locations in China. Gigi Brown is the foundation’s Treasurer and the Education and Activities Director of the foster home when it becomes operational next year.
