2018 Annual Report And Our Plans For 2019 | December 2018 Newsletter

Construction Update

We have completed the water lines from the water tower to the first children’s home and have the house supplied with water from our well. This building is part of the orphan care facility we’re building inside the Casa Esperanza of Angels mission.

We have constructed a new gardening /plant shed and started another vegetable garden as part of the mission’s Sustainability Program.

Upon completion of a few more tasks Georgia and I plan to move into the first children’s home occupying the house parent assistant’s room until other housing can be built for our personal accommodations.

2018 Annual Report

With your generous donations, encouragement, and help we have accomplished a great deal in 2018!

Since the beginning of the year we have completed the first children’s home, completed long sections of the exterior enclosure wall, spent 2 months in the US speaking and raising funds, completed the guardhouse complete with CCTV surveillance, built our elevated water tank, begin preparation for our 3 phase electrical service, strengthened our sustainability program, made improvements in the property landscaping, as well as completed all the necessary financial records and reporting we must do to both the US and Philippine governments.

We are ready for the challenges of 2019 and we are blessed to have you all as our team members to accomplish great things for HIM!

2019 Plans

On Jan. 24 we will conduct our first outreach event of 2019! Let’s get things going right from the start!

On February 26, 2019 Georgia and I will fly to the US to begin a 2 month campaign for the Philippine Mission work … securing sponsors for children and raising support for staff and the church establishment. Ask your church elders to contact us ASAP if your congregation is not already on our schedule. We have March filled, but still have some open dates in April!

After our return to the Philippines in May we will try to finalize everything to begin operations as soon as possible, provided we have secured adequate funding for staffing needs and to care for the children.

At this time we will likely be very busy involved with hiring staff and interaction with the government overseeing department of DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development) getting our registration and licensing for operations.

We hope we will also have adequate funding to begin construction of the pavilion building in 2019 which will serve dual purpose: for various orphanage activities, but primarily for the start of the church of Christ in Tanjay.

Happy Holidays and Thank you so very much!

christmas greetings

We are so very grateful to our generous donors/supporting congregations for working with us to spread the “good news” and help those in need in this part of the world!

Colossians 3: 15-17 KJV
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
