Arrival In The U.S. And Other Updates – March 2018 Newsletter

U.S. Arrival

We have arrived in the US after many hours of travel. We began our journey in Tanjay City, Philippines. From there we traveled to Cebu City – Philippines, Shanghai – China, Detroit, Atlanta and a day after arriving in Atlanta we drove to Albany, Ga. We will soon begin our extensive travels throughout Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.

Orphanage Construction Updates

While we are away, some construction still continues under the supervision of our architect Rainier Garcia. Work on the roof of the guard house at the entrance to the Casa Esperanza compound continues and should be completed by the time we return.

The central laundry house has been started but will remain idle until our return. We are building the laundry house because it is an essential infrastructure task to complete. Part of this building will serve as an electrical distribution hub. A primary electrical supply line will terminate here and then electricity will be distributed to all structures on the property via secondary supply lines.

Upon our return in May we also hope to begin work on the water distribution plan. We have already completed the deep well that is fully functional, but we need to build a water storage tank. Water will then be distributed, by way of gravity, to all the planned structures. It is essential we complete these two infrastructure tasks in order to have the first children’s home functional.

We plan to work towards the completion of the first children’s home as well. We still need to install floor/bathroom tiles, doors, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and paint before moving children/house parents in!

Thank You For Your Support!

It is because of our wonderful supporters/donors we are making good progress. While the construction/start-up is very labor intensive and financially draining, the rewards to come will be priceless. Saving souls for HIS kingdom is what we are about and with your help we can, through the operation of the orphanage and the establishment of a church, accomplish this goal. Your prayers are requested as we travel and present the work we are doing in hopes of gaining more team members in this mission.

Our Sincere thanks and God’s Blessings to you all,

Ronald and Georgia Brown
