Thank You For The Hospitality! US Trip Updates | April 2019 Newsletter

US Travels

Gigi and I have been traveling in the US since the end of February and have covered over 5,000+ miles of travel by car, visited 10 different states, given more than 15+ presentations on our mission work, met a lot of great people, fellowshipped / worshipped with numerous congregations, re-connected with many generous donors, and received a wealth of encouragement!

We thank you all for your generous donations, hospitality, encouragement, and opportunity to share with you all about the work we are doing in the Philippines!

Return to the Philippines

We return to the Philippines on April 30. Upon our arrival we will return to the many tasks ahead of us, once we have recovered from the long hours of travel.

We intend to initiate the process to complete the installation of the permanent electrical power to the property and initiate the final steps before hiring staff to begin accepting children to our care under the Orphan Care Program.

We hope to finalize plans and begin construction of the second children’s home where we will house girls vulnerable to human trafficking under our Human Trafficking Prevention Program in collaboration with Save Asian Souls Foundation.

We are praying for sufficient donations in the near future to begin construction of the much needed multi-purpose pavilion building, as soon as possible, so we can work towards the church of Christ Establishment part of our mission by having a place to conduct worship services open to the public.

Philippine Mission Accounting/Banking

Ron Brown & Aaron SchwartzA few months ago we were blessed to find Aaron Schwartz, CPA, and member at Watermill church of Christ in Springfield, Missouri. Aaron has taken over our accounting and assisting us with banking at no cost to us. While recently in Springfield we got to meet Aaron and his family face to face!

Thank you Aaron for your donation of services to our mission!

We will be transitioning from our Citizen’s Bank account in Red Boiling Springs to our new UMB account in Missouri so Aaron can help manage the deposits and funds transfers to the Philippines.

Please be aware that current donors need to shift monthly donations to the new account. Please make checks payable to:
