The Philippine Paradox

The Philippines is a sovereign island country in Southeast Asia situated in the western Pacific Ocean consisting of 7,107 islands with a tropical maritime climate. The island nation boasts many beautiful natural wonders and vacation destinations any traveler would enjoy.

But as with every coin, there is a flip side to the Philippines…..a paradox, if you will.

There are the skyscrapers of the capital city of Manila…and the shanties of those struggling to just survive.

There are the beautiful white sand beaches of Boracay…and those suffering from the powerful typhoons that often hit the Philippines.

There are the interesting Chocolate Hills of Bohol…and the begging street children of Cebu.

There are the beautiful whale sharks and other undersea wonders……and there are the homeless and hungry.

There are the children that are blessed to be able to attend school and gain an education…and those who do not have that opportunity and are seemingly relinquished to a life of hardships and poverty!

The paradox between great beauty and suffering will continue on … but what can we do?

The Casa Esperanza Of Angels Vision

To provide spiritual, physical, and mental health to orphan children as well as develop them to be successful contributors to society as a whole in a family atmosphere.

We are here to provide the fundamental necessities of life for some of these less fortunate children of the Philippines as well as reach out to the community, as we able, to help. We’re basically tilling the soil and planting seeds through these actions for the eventual establishment of a church of Christ congregation in this location.

Would you like to assist us in being part of this great work?

They need our help!
